Abstrak

PEMBERIAN PROBIOTIK BAKTERI SELULOLITIK B-6 MELALUI AIR MINUM TERHADAP PRODUKSI TELUR AYAM LOHMANN BROWN UMUR 40-48 MINGGU WEDANA. I G. R., I.G.N.G BIDURA, DAN D.P.M.A.CANDRAWATI PS. Sudirman, Denpasar E-mail: risky.bly@gmail.com Telphone : 085237188968 ABSTRAK Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh pemberian probiotik bakteri selulolitik B-6 melalui air minum terhadap produksi telur ayam Lohmann Brown umur 40-48 minggu. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Desa Dajan Peken, Tabanan, Bali, selama tiga bulan yaitu mulai dari persiapan sampai dengan penyusunan laporan. Rancangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan tiga perlakuan dan enam kali ulangan. Perlakuan yang diberikan adalah: air minum tanpa penambahan probiotik bakteri selulolitik B-6 sebagai kontrol (P0), air minum dengan penambahan probiotik bakteri selulolitik B-6 sebanyak 0,2 % (P1), dan air minum dengan penambahan probiotik bakteri selulolitik B-6 dengan 0,4 % (P2). Variabel yang diamati dalam penelitian ini adalah konsumsi ransum, konsumsi air minum, jumlah telur, berat telur total,berat telur rata-rata dan Feed Convertion Ratio (FCR). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa konsumsi ransum ,air minum, jumlah telur,berat telur total dan berat telur rata-rata pada perlakuan P1 dan P2 nyata (P<0,05) lebih tinggi dibandingkan ayam yang mendapatkan perlakuan P0 sedangkan FCR mengalami penurunan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian bakteri selulolitik B-6 sebagai sumber probiotik melalui air minum pada level 0,2% dan 0,4% dapat meningkatkan produksi telur ayam Lohmann Brown umur 40-48 minggu dan menurunkan FCR. Kata kunci: Probiotik Bakteri Selulolitik B-6, Konsumsi, Ayam Lohmann Brown, Produksi telur THE EFFECT OF FEEDING LEVEL OF B-6 CELLULOLYTIC BACTERIA PROBIOTIC ADMINISTERED THROUGH DRINKING WATER ON THE EGG PRODUCTION OF LOHMANN BROWN HEN 40 - 48 WEEK OLD ABSTRACT The aim of this research is to study the effect of B-6 cellulolytic bacteria probiotic through drinking water on the 40-48 week old Lohmann Brown hen egg production 40-48 weeks old. The research was conducted in Dajan Peken Village, Tabanan, Bali, for three months starting from preparation until report writing. The design used in this study was Completely Randomized Design (RAL) with three treatments and six replications. The treatments were: drinking water 387 without probiotic addition of B-6 cellulolytic bacteria as control (P0), drinking water with probiotics of B-6 cellulolytic bacteria as much as 0.2% (P1), and drinking water with B- 6 probiotic of cellulolytic bacteria with 0.4% (P2). The variables observed in this study were ration consumption, drinking water consumption, egg number, total egg weight, average egg weight and Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR). The results showed that the consumption of rations, drinking water, total eggs, total egg weight and average egg weight at treatment of P1 and P2 were significantly higher (P <0.05) compared with P0 treatment while the FCR has decrease. Based on the results, it can be concluded that the provision of B-6 cellulolytic bacteria as a source of probiotics through drinking water at the level of 0.2% and 0.4% can increase the 40-48 week old Lohmann Brown hen egg production and decrease FCR.
