PROFIL KANKER SERVIKS PADA WANITA DENGAN USIA DI BAWAH 40 TAHUN DI RSUP SANGLAH DENPASAR PERIODE JULI 2013-JUNI 2014

Abstrak

Background: Cervical cancer is one of the most deadly types of cancer, and takesthe first place in developing countries. Recently there has been a change in the trend that the average cervical cancer patientsbecome younger. It is influenced by both of the external and internal factors. This objective study is identifying the profile and distribution of 40 years old women with cervical cancer in Sanglah Hospital on July 2013-June 2014. Method: A retrospective descriptive design was conducted by using samplesfrom all the medical record of under 40 years old female patients with cervical cancer in Sanglah hospital on July 2013-June 2014. Samples were selected by purposive sampling that met the inclusion criteria, and the data was presented in tabularform. Result: Patients with cervical cancer in women under 40 years old is as many as 48 people. From the data is found that majority of married age is 20-30 years old which is about 34 persons (70.8%); parity on the parity group of 2-4is as many as 33 people (68.8%); and the average education is 34 people (70.8%); stage IIIB is 20 people (41.7%); with histopathological Non Keratinizing Squamous Cell Carcinomais 22 people (45.8%); and most of patientscome from Denpasar as many as 11 patients (22.9%). Conclusion: From this study, we find that young married age and low levels of education have a high incident of cervical cancer in under 40 years old women, but high parity was not obtained in this study. Average of under 40 years old female patients with cervical cancer come at advanced stage with the most histopathology is Non-Keratinizing Squamous Cell Carcinoma type.
