Abstrak

Background: Adolescent is a period of transition from child to adult or growing into adulthood. It can’t be said to be adults but also can’t be said as the children. The definition of adolescents according to WHO is a person aged 10-19 years. They have begun to appear the characteristics of primary and secondary sex development such as the growth of breast and menstruation in women. All development did not run smoothly in every woman. It is possible to have problems with this developmental process related to reproductive health. Aim: The study aims to find out ginecological problem on adolescent patients at Sanglah General Hospital. Method: This study was conducted with total sampling technique to calculate the prevalence rate of menstrual disorder, vaginal discharge, ovarian tumor, Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), Human Papilloma Virus Infections, and unwanted pregnancy among adolescents seeking treatment in Sanglah Hospital Denpasar within April 2016 – March 2017. Result: Of the 49 samples obtained, there were 53.06% cases of vaginal discharge, 38.78% of cases of menstrual disorders, and 8.16% of cases of ovarian cancer. Conclusion: There are no patient was found to be infected with Human Papilloma Virus (HPV), Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) and unwanted pregnancy from April 2016 till March 2017.
