Alih Wahana Cerita Rakyat Momotaro dari Ehon Menjadi Kashi dan Anime

The title of this research is “Transformation of Momotaro Folklore from Picture Book into Song Lyric and Animation”. The research of transformation shares knowledges about changes and adaptations of a literary transformation to literary source. This research also gives appreciation to the literary which motivated appearance of other literary. In this research, theories that have been used are the theory of structural by Stanton (2007), semiotic by Danesi (2010) and McCloud (2008), intertextual by Riffaterre (1978), and transformation by Damono (2005). The result of this research showed that the transformation of picture book into song lyric caused some removal and changes variation of the plot and character, changes variation of the second theme, and also caused some removal on the setting and viewpoint. Transformation of picture book to animation caused some removal, increase, and changes variation of the plot and character. The transformation also caused some removal, increase, and changes variation on the setting of time and place. The theme, social setting, and viewpoint on the animation are same with its on picture book.
