PERLINDUNGAN HUKUM TENAGA KERJA INDONESIA DI LUAR NEGERI

ABSTRACT Legal protection of Indonesian workers (TKIJ in foreign countries is very urgent for the government s agenda to be realized considering the number of cases of rights violations affecting Indonesian workers abroad. Legal protection covers the protection ofprospective Indonesia labor prior to placement, protection ofIndonesia labor during the placement, protection of Indonesia labor full time placement (the return). Duties and authority of agencies associated with the placement of these labor need to be clarified and monitored its implementation. Clauses bilateral relations between the sending country (Indonesia) with the recipient country workers need to be clarified so that the representative body of Indonesia regarding the placement of Indonesian workers can carry out the functions and duties properly.
