Abstrak

Victims of child sexual abuse such as the phenomenon of the iceberg are increasing every year. Data from the Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection shows an increase from 2012 to 2018, including violence in Bali. Sexual violence against children is a crime that has a devastating effect on child development. The purpose of this study is to provide solutions and strategies in efforts to prevent sexual violence against children. The research uses socio-legal method through the legal regulatory approach and the sociological approach is appropriate in achieving the research objectives. The results suggested that to prevent sexual violence against children, the role of government and customary villages was very important. The role of the government through regulations governing efforts to prevent sexual violence against children is accompanied by the participation of customary villages through regulating efforts in awig-awig and pararem.
