Pemberdayaan Potensi Masyarakat Dalam pengembangan Pariwisata Budaya Di Desa Tenganan, Kecamatan Manggis Kabupaten Karangasem, Bali

Tenganan is a village in the district Manggis, Karangasem regency. The village community has some unique traditional from generation among pandanus war, war biu Traditional Village Tenganan including Bali Aga village which has unique traditions such as pandanus war Biu (banana) and mating Craft a livelihood to sustain kommunication life Tenganan. The uniqueness of indigenous communitles traditional Tenganan village has become a tourist attraction that is veryattractive for tourists, thus becoming the leading culture tour package in Bali. However community participation in teh tourism indistry alone in limited to be the object so it does not get significant benefits. This condition requeres special effort to define strategies and measures to build the economy. The strategy is pursued through the empoerment of the community as a whole potential synergistic, holistic and sustainable so that the program can run effectevely and productively. The method used in this communication empowerment activities, including : 1) Education, 2) training and 3) Assistence. The approach used, namely : 1) Model Participatory Rural appraisal (PRA), (2) Model Enthrepreneurship Capacity Building (ECB) and (3) model of technology transfer (TT) and (4) model of information technology (IT). In general of all the activities carried out are : (1) Sosializimg with lokal goverment and community; (2) Development of cultural Tourism Village; (3) Development of Craft Ate; (4) Revision and writing awig-awig traditional village. Development of cultural village has managed to form and strengthen the skills of tourism operators and create a cultural village Tenganan tracking tour package. Group ate craftsmen have managed to create innovative craft design variation as well as the results of the finishing product as standart. Revision and writing awig-awig has product draft awig-awig for further refined and written in script Bali. Results of the evaluation showed that the program implementation IbW getting a very positive respons from parties involved in community emprowerment.
