Abstrak
This study entitled "Legal Protection of Labor Against Women At Night In Hotel Class Melati Hotel Jayagiri Denpasar". In order to create legal protection to improve the welfare and protection for workers in the class hotel Melati in this Hotel Jayagiri Denpasar with an important role in supporting the tourism sector that increasingly advanced, so the importance of knowing how the implementation and the barriers of legal protection contained in that hotel. This research is important because the legal protection for workers covered by Regulation Legislation. The method used is the juridical empirical legal research methods. The source of the data in the study of primary data derived from those obtained directly from field research in the form of descriptions of the parties involved in this research and secondary data derived from the research literature through legislation, literature, books and official documents. Protection laws that have been implemented is a break or leave will given to workers if the worker has been employed for one year, the wages given to workers in accordance with the minimum wage districts/cities, overtime pay given to workers work beyond working hours are set, shelter is provided for workers coming from outside the city/province, maintain the decency to leave a polite clothes and safety in the workplace by providing security, and provide facilities for First Aid. Obstacles encountered as in the labor agreement that has been agreed that Hotel Jayagiri Denpasar using six working days due to work quite a lot, but the number of workers slightly not provide nutritious foods and beverages for women workers who work at night but instead give money to eat, the hotel does not allow female workers during the menstrual not come to work because the hotel considers women workers who are sick during menstrual periods can still do the job. From these results it can be concluded that the legal protection for women workers at night which has been implemented by the Hotel Jayagiri Denpasar, working time, wage systems, rest, leave, decency worship according to the religion and beliefs of each. As for obstacles such as a weekday at Hotel Jayagiri Denpasar exceed weekdays that have been defined for the work to be carried out by workers at the hotel quite a lot while the number of workers at the hotel a little bit so the hotel adds a weekday, the hotel is not able to provide food and beverage nutritious instead the hotel provides the money to eat, and most of the workers at the Hotel Jayagiri Denpasar not live close to work so that workers often enter late.
