Abstract Lately often encounter many innkeepers who abuse their lodging for rent to unlawful parties to rent lodging, such as couples who are not married couples used as a place to commit adultery and prostitution practices, young people who rent lodging for using drugs. This happens because the innkeeper does not seem to want to know who rented his lodging, but only thinking about the benefits of his business without regard to the negative impact it caused. The purpose of writing a scientific paper is to find out what are the factors that cause abuse of lodging rental in Badung regency and how the efforts can be made in the settlement of abuse cases of lodging rental in Badung regency. The method used in the writing of a scientific work is empirical juridical method is a method that is done by conducting research directly to down the field or the way of observation in order to obtain an accurate truth and facts. The act of the innkeeper who rents the inn to the tenants who rent the lodging for abuse in running their business is generally prohibited because it has negative impacts in the community. Although prohibited, but not a few innkeepers who continue to give permission to rent his lodging to the tenants who abuse his inn. Key words: leasing, lodging, abused.
