Abstrak
Sun Tzu The Art Of War" (Hanyu Pinyin: S?nz? B?ngf?) is a military book strategy written by Sun Tzu in the sixth century. Consisting of thirteen chapters in which each part discusses about strategy and various methods of warfare. Altough Sun Tzu Art of War is known as military book strategy, what it explains is not absolutely about physical fighting. For Sun Tzu, military force is the last choice to win a battle. He said it is better to win a war without engage in the real war. Sun Tzu preferred military art to military force. He offerred the concept of 'winning the heart of enemy'. What he believed is different with Clausewitz. Clausewitz as father of modern strategy emphasised on physical strength to win a war. But Sun Tzu chose to play in physicological side to win a war through deception technique. For Sun Tzu, there are three important actors in war. They are, general, soldiers and spies. In Sun Tzu book, general and soldier still occupied by men, and women are able to be spies. This writing explains that the position as general or soldier in military area can be occupied not only by men but also by women. Women in modern era have profession as soldiers. It is because today men and women have equal opportunities to apply any job in any positions. But women in Sun Tzu era haven't had a chance as what modern women have, because they were still forcing by the classical society belief which said women better to stay at home and they were not appropriate to participate in the battlefield
