Layanan Referensi Berbasis K-ATM (Knowledge Automatic Transfer Machine) di Perpustakaan Universitas Indonesia

The purpose of this research was to determine the implementation of K-ATM (KnowledgeAutomatic Transfer Machine) services in Perpustakaan Universitas Indonesia. This research using descriptive research methods with a qualitative approach. Sources of data in this study were came from textbooks, journals, research results, field observations and interviews. The informants in this research amounted 5 (five) informants, which are librarians and staff whose served in K-ATM services. Technique of data analysis used data Collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this research indicate that the existence of K-ATM services is very helpful librarians and library staff in the University of Indonesia Library to fulfill the user information needs in required ebook and journals quickly and precisely and functioning as store virtual reference collections. The K-ATM limitation were the relativity of low storage capacity which issues errors when it was overload.
