The Mini-Clinical Evaluation Exercise is a workplace-based assessment method used in medical education to evaluate the clinical skills of Psychiatry Specialist Program-1 trainees through direct observation of their interactions with real patients. This method involves a supervisor observing Psychiatry Specialist Program-1 trainees as they take a history, perform a physical examination, make a diagnosis, and plan treatment, then providing structured feedback to help improve performance.
