Abstrak
The research findings show that the tourism village in Badung regency has not been implemented optimally as seen from the variables of community participation, management and tourist visits. Community participation, management and tourist visits are still passive, human resource and capital management constraints, and minimal tourist visits. Only two tourism villages (out of eleven tourist villages) that can be said to be going well in terms of community participation, management and tourist visits. There is indeed a tourist village which is crowded with tourists but it is not because of the role of the tourist village, but rather already has a famous tourist attraction / attraction. It is urgent that a framework for implementing the tourism village policy is implemented for the Badung regency government to be able to formulate and realize tourism villages as part of sustainable tourism alternatives.
