Corn Disease (Zea mays L.) and How to Control it

The main obstacle in corn cultivation is not yet fully known plant cultivation technology and identification of various diseases found in maize plants in the field. This will make it difficult for observers, farmers and students to decide on an appropriate control strategy to save corn. The similarity of symptoms of disease with each other, plus also the same pathogen can attack all parts of the corn plant, even a postharvest pathogen. This problem can be overcome by knowing carefully the symptoms of the disease, the factors that influence the disease, the disease cycle, and the pathogens that cause the disease, so that they do not take the wrong decision in their control.
