Abstrak
Feed is one of the
commodities from the upstream agribusiness sub-system, or provider of livestock
production facilities for the livestock farming subsystem. Nutrition is the
most important factor to support animal husbandry, because it can impact on the
desired productivity of livestock. Therefore, it is important to note here is
the management of feed nutrition with a precise calculation, in accordance with
the nutrient requirements for pigs. This textbook examines the digestive system
and absorption of food substances in pigs, food management, types and types of
pig food, assessment of food substances, food needs for pigs at various stages
of production, food deficiency, and feed formulations for pigs. This book is
